TAXATION OF WORKS OF ART:

Works of art are not subject to Wealth tax on personal real estate assets. For a private individual, their resale is not taxed if the value of the item or its transfer price does not exceed €5,000.

How it works

The founder

Olga Nesternko has always been an art enthusiast. She grew up in Russia with a musician mother and a grandmother who passed on her love of ballet and opera to her.

These two passions led her to become a piano teacher before training in culture and art management. Shortly afterwards, life led her to Paris, then Uzbekistan, Chad and Mali before she returned to the French capital.

Back in France, Olga continued to build up her experience. After training in business development, she decided to return to her first loves and art.

She contacted several artists and decided to open an online gallery. Momarts was born. The sole aim was to make contemporary art accessible to all. Momarts offers a selection of young artists as well as recognised creators. The gallery is designed for private individuals, companies and local authorities and offers different types of services: works for sale, to rent, organisation of turnkey exhibitions, and more.
